We’re looking for you to be a key member of our Customer Experience Leadership Team. The Head of CX Product leads our Product Centre of Expertise and oversees the ongoing development of our Customer Experience Platform Teams. Balancing the technical SME experience of Product, with exceptional leadership, you’ll lead, inspire and develop a thriving Community of Product practitioners, who will work throughout the business to deliver exceptional business and customer outcomes.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Wide and deep experience providing expert Product competence
  • Experience Leading a Product Team in a scaled Agile model with capability to manage, prioritize, and track the achievement of the tasks on the backlog.

  • Strong managerial experience
  • FS Experience not essential
  • Work at an advanced level to remove constraints and blockers and share power by putting the needs of the employees first and help people develop and perform as highly as possible.
  • Work with full competence to identify, acquire, and manage the resources (physical and human) for the project.
  • Work at an advanced level to lead program related meetings, keeping focus on agenda, issues, workflow, and associated agile ceremony requirements.

The Role

  • Making Product Ownership a well understood and valuable discipline within Tesco Bank by creating and vision and roadmap to evolve and optimise the practice
  • Inspiring a community of Product Owners and managers to strive for continuous improvement within the practice
  • Developing the individuals within the community through coaching, career development and career paths
  • Defining, standardising and achieving best practice in Product Ownership across Tesco Bank (value streams and platform teams) through measurable consistency and improvements driven by agreed OKRs
  • Setting the vision and roadmap for the Customer Experience platform teams
  • Setting stretching strategic OKRs against this vision and leading a team to determine and deliver against aligned tactical OKRs
