The Head of Litigation & Investigations (‘Head of L&I’) is a newly created position in Reckitt, designed to deliver best in class global litigation, investigations and associated risk mitigation and management support to our business and to the wider Legal function.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering best in class strategic and technical legal support and management of material litigation, disputes and investigations, collaborating with other Legal and non-Legal stakeholders as appropriate;
• Actively ‘horizon scanning’ to identify external litigation and investigation trends and developments, assessing their potential implications for Reckitt and its business on a proactive, forward-looking basis; helping to develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring effective, consistent responses when such risks materialise;
• Ensuring efficient, fit for purpose Group L&I governance and risk management processes, including clear, consistent litigation reporting and provisioning processes and guidelines, aligned with relevant non-Legal stakeholders such as Finance;
• Nanaging the process for periodic Group litigation reporting, in collaboration with others in the Legal function as well as other internal stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Investor Relations and External Affairs); participating in relevant processes for review and oversight of Group internal investigations where required, and maintaining overall oversight and visibility of the L&I portfolio across the Group;
• Driving operational efficiency and cost management in the L&I space, by developing templates, toolkits and standardised processes where appropriate (e.g., document retention and discovery processes), and building panel relationships with key law firms;
• Helping to strengthen wider functional skills and capabilities in L&I

The role can be based in Slough UK, Amsterdam, NL or Parsippany, US.
