Head of Solution Engineering Planning – Denver, Colorado

As the Head of Solution Engineering will be responsible for planning and effective utilization of our global IT resources and play a critical role in shaping the company’s strategic roadmap. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the company (engineering teams, product leaders, regional leaders, etc.) to plan capability engineering roadmap. As the leader you will oversee software engineering projects by monitoring outcomes and alignment to the company’s overall goals, policies and regulations. You’ll be responsible for creating a high-performing engineering team in scale, maturity, and effectiveness, while also leading and building the growth of our remittance and payment services. This role will lead platform architecture and will work closely with both the Product team and other technology teams.


Role Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic direction and objectives, ensure that all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are aligned to the Evolve 25 strategy and success of the organization.

  • Oversee software engineering projects by monitoring outcomes and alignment to the company’s overall goals, policies and regulations.

  • Create a high-performing engineering team in scale, maturity, and effectiveness, while also leading and building the growth of our remittance and payment services.

  • Provide vision and guidance for multiple software development teams, define, and inform goals, and oversee release deployments.

  • Understand and plan for the product roadmap and maintain awareness of broader technical and business changes.

  • Identify, implement, and drive the adoption of high-performing best practices within the Engineering Team.

  • Promote iterative, thoughtful decision-making within self-organized teams.

Role Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in Solutions and Architecture background.

  • Extensive experience and understanding of remittance/ payments industry and technology.

  • Graduate, ideally with an Engineering and Business-related degree.

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal communication with exceptional stakeholder management experience at the Executive Management level.

Salary

The on-target earnings range is $380,000 – $520,000 USD per year, which includes a base salary and short-term and long-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
