Job Description Summary
Provides support in the operation of the onsite fitness programs.
Job Description
Provides support in the operation of the onsite fitness programs. Provides formal and informal consultations to assists clients in developing safe and effective exercise programs. Performs individual fitness assessments. Other duties as assigned by Team Leader and/or Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in sports and health fitness.
- Must have a current CPR certification or receive certification within 6 months from date of hire.
- Current fitness instructor certification or equivalent. If not currently certified, must receive certification within 1 year from date of hire.
- High School diploma
PREFERRED:
- Bachelors in Exercise Science or related field
LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written. Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation.
SKILLS:
- Must have the ability to handle fitness equipment. Basic computer skills utilizing a Microsoft environment.
