About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at the PET-CT Centre based at Castle Hill Hospital, Cottingham, Hull as a Healthcare/Clinical Assistant.

This position is to help with the expansion of the service for PET-CT at the site and will be inclusive of Monday to Sunday working. 20 hours per week 2x10 hour shifts.

In this role you will be assisting our Radiographers and helping to prepare patients for their scan and chaperoning where appropriate. Previous healthcare experience would be an advantage and this role does also include administrative tasks including bookings, which full training will be given.

Required Skills and Experience

As a successful candidate you should have:

• Patient care experience/skills
• Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills including time management
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• The ability to be innovative and forward thinking, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail
• IT literacy
• Be able to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a team
• Be willing to support with both clinical and administrative duties
