Are you an experienced or have interest into being a Healthcare Assistant looking to grow within your career?Elderly care ward 17 medical ward at Wexham Park Hospital.
Ward 17 is a Care of the Elderly ward working along side occupational therapists , physiotherapists and pharmacy to ensure safe patient care.

- To participate in the nursing care of patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse and raise issues of concern to a qualified nurse.
- To always maintain respect and confidentiality .
- To maintain clear and accurate documentation under the supervision of a registered nurse raising issues of concern with a qualified nurse where appropriate.
- To communicate effectively and liaise with all healthcare staff as appropriate.
We have three main hospitals , Frimley Park in Frimley near Camberley, Heatherwood in Ascot and Wexham Park near Slough.

We are also proud to host the Defence Medical Group South East at Frimley Park with military surgical, medical and nursing personnel working alongside the hospital's NHS staff providing care to patients in all specialties
- Assist patients with their nutritional requirements which includes ensuring menus are completed , handing out drinks and food to patients ensuring patients can reach everything they need and are sat in a good eating position and when appropriate feeding patients on the ward.
- To encourage and maintain good relationship with medical staff and other members of the primary care and social services teams in order to provide the best care.
