We Require
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Three years of work experience operating trucks and heavy equipment
-
A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a medical card issued by the State of Arizona
We Also Value

Experience transporting equipment along with operating/driving the following:

Motor Grader

Backhoe

Frontend Loader

And various types of small equipment

Job Contributions
-
Operate a variety of medium to large-sized construction and maintenance equipment/vehicles in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures
-
Plan and prioritize work tasks; read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications

Perform heavy manual labor assignments as needed and assist work for crews as required
-
Perform pre-checks, cleans, services, and minor maintenance repairs on equipment/vehicles
-
Identify and report mechanical problems requiring additional repair
-
Completes required daily logs and prepares reports; enter information in asset management system (Cartegraph)

Attend safety meetings and other required meetings and mandatory training
-
Haul materials and transports vehicles and equipment to job sites using various trucks and transporters
Working Conditions

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

May be subject to extreme temperatures, wetness/humidity, respiratory hazards and noise and vibration

May be subject to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor, ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel
