Cornerstone Technologies is seeking a full-time Help Desk Technician to join our growing team in Kalamazoo, MI.
Position Overview
The Help Desk Technician solves technical issues for our clients both remotely and on-site. This position is client-facing via phone, email, and remote support tools, and requires exceptional communication and client service skills.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding client service. Answer phone calls, respond to e-mails, and process helpdesk tickets timely while being professional, friendly, and patient.
- Provide primary contact and problem resolution for clients' computer, cloud, and telephony systems.
- Support Windows and Mac desktops.
- Support Windows Server platform.
- Respond to systems and network related alerts.
- Work with our team to create strategic solutions to recurring problems.
- Document client networks and resolution for technical problems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 Years of IT Support experience
- 1-2 Years of Windows Desktop and Server experience
- Experience with Untangle firewalls
- Experience with server virtualization
- Experience with VOIP
- Knowledge of Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) and Professional Services Automation (PSA)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365
