Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HIL (Hardware in Loop) Test Engineer to run our HIL bench to test software. The successful candidate will be responsible for building harnesses, installing sensors/other hardware, flashing software, working with controls engineering leads to define tests, running the tests, generating results reports, and reviewing results with other engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Build harnesses, install sensors/other hardware and flash software.
• Work with controls engineering leads to define tests.
• Run tests, generate results reports and review results with other engineers.
• Manage HIL bench and ensure equipment is well-maintained.
• Collaborate with other team members and ensure overall success of the project.

Education:/Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 2-4 years related experience.

Skills Required

• Required: Microsoft office applications.
• Understanding of controls and software function and validation testing.
• Understanding of wiring harness function and how to build small harnesses.
• Required: Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
• Good team player with the ability to work collaboratively.

Skills Desired

• Willingness to be trained for high voltage work
• Good communication skills and the ability to present ideas.
