Client is developing and commercializing innovative solutions for modular and mobile natural gas processing plants for the upstream and midstream oil and gas sector, with key focus on providing processed gas and recovering NGLs from raw gas, maximizing the value delivered to our customers while reducing the emissions and the environmental footprint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize hydrocarbon processing plant designs meeting technical and commercial requirements.
• Work with the technology team on concept selection and optimization.
• Evaluate alternative technical solutions for technical and commercial viability.
• Work closely with contractors to develop costing models and cost optimization opportunities.
• Work closely with fabricators to identify cost saving opportunities through optimizing design as well as component selection.
• Coordinate vendor discussions/troubleshooting, order parts, and propose upgrades as necessary. Create value propositions for upgrades on specific parts and systems.
• Maintain design documentation including relevant simulations and engineering calculations.
• Work closely with respective SMEs to cover all aspects of processing plant operation, including instrumentation, PLCs, HMIs, and process automation.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in key engineering discipline (Chemical, Process, or Mechanical).
• 5+ years’ experience in design, layout, and optimization of gas processing plants, with mobile / skid mounted designs a plus.
• Experience with gas processing equipment design and fabrication; able to produce and red-line PFDs, P&IDs, and markup piping General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS, BR&E ProMax).
• Ability to manage contractors, meet aggressive timelines, and deliver results.
• Experience with equipment manufacturers, highlighting the benefits/tradeoffs of selected alternatives.
• Ability to make design decisions, improvements, and recommendations, based on unit operational performance.
• Facilitate economic analysis and weigh tradeoffs on technical proposals.
• Ability to travel 20-30% of time.
• Interface with contract operators and fabricators to capture lessons learned and document solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $83,943.86 - $190,599.74 per year
