Horticultural Assistant Needed-Wallingford CT
CTDaylily is a business focused on growing, selling and propagating new varieties of daylilies (Hemerocallis). Sales are primarily web-based (mail order).
Anticipated hours would be 30-40 per week, starting around March 1. Hours may be less in winter. The work would primarily entail watering, weeding, transplanting, insect and disease control, and dividing and shipping of daylilies. Applicant should be physically fit.
CTDaylily ships within the USA and internationally. This would be an opportunity for a motivated individual to learn more about the hybridizing of daylilies. The work would be located in a beautiful rural-suburban setting in southeast Wallingford, near Northford. Some flexibility in hours and days worked is possible, and some work on weekends will be necessary.

Salary: From $16.00 per hour
Drivers license needed and some gardening/horticultural experience is preferred
