Someone who will be there to dispel the myths surrounding hospice and help patients and families with their end of life journey.

Job Summary:

The RN or LPN Quality of Life Advisor will work to bring an understanding of hospice to the community. They seek to build healthcare industry and local community relationships to provide hospice education and screenings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a positive public image for Haven Hospice
• Project hospice philosophy to staff, patients, families, and the community
• Provide hospice guidance to potential patients and their families
• Build and maintain relationships with Haven Home Health and Hospice clinicians
• Plan and implement hospice education programs as well as community outreach programs and events
• Develop a robust knowledge of hospice services
• Connect with community resources while while building relationships with potential hospice patients

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Missouri RN or LPN license in good standing with at least 1 year of Hospice experience
• Current knowledge of hospice and home health services
• Drive for helping others navigate the end of life experience while improving the quality of life for patients and their families
• Enjoy meeting people and the ability to navigate conversations and delicate situations
• Enjoy the sales and marketing of healthcare services
• Ability to work independently in an organized and professional manner
• Ability to travel in a 60 to 80 mile radius of our office
• Log calls, activity, and visits while implementing excellent organizational and time management skills
