Responsibilities:
The Department of Internal Medicine, Frederick P. Whiddon College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama is looking for (2) full-time board eligible/board certified internists to join the hospitalist team at the Assistant Professor level. We seek applicants with an understanding of the medical educational, clinical, and administrative issues for internal medicine residents and 1st-4th year medical students at a small medical school. Successful applicants will assist with the residency program needs, inpatient general medicine services (both independently and with residents), and quality improvement programs. There are expectations for career advancement through the academic promotions process.
