Salary - £24,250 - £26,100 per annum - depending on skills and experience

Contract type - Fixed Term - until March 2023

Working hours - Full Time - 37 hours

About the role

We are now recruiting for a Household Support Fund Coordinator on a short term basis.

You need to provide contact, advice and guidance to families and professionals the team works with in the Birmingham Children`s Partnership. This specifically includes supporting the co-ordination of Household Support Fund applications, the support of partner neighbourhood hubs/trusted partners, the arrangement of community advice and support events, and general marketing

You need to link grant applicants with wider support through signposting and Family Connect Forms - liaising directly with the locality based early help teams.

Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.

About you

You need to have excellent customer service skills.

You need to have experience of managing competing demands.

You should have awareness of inclusion & diversity issues & the implications for different people. You need to have the ability to be pro-active and solution focused in gather relevant information from a variety of sources to enable good decision to be taken.

You need to be able to identify several options to solve the cause of a problem and analyse the pros and cons of each option to arrive at a sound decision.

You need to have team work, communication, prioritisation, professional boundaries and respect.

You need to be responsible for management of direct payments and grant payment tracking.
