GARDEN VALLEY RETIREMENT VILLAGE is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join our Team!!

As an important member of our team, the Housekeeping Aide performs day-to-day housekeeping services ensuring a clean, attractive facility in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Garden Valley standards. Your role will be performing day to day housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Emptying, cleaning, and relining all waste receptacles
• Ensuring routine cleaning of all restrooms/bathrooms, including fixtures, exposed plumbing, walls and floors. Keeping facility supplied with paper towels, soap and other needed items.
• Washing walls, windows, doors and door frames.
• Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
• Ensures any cords, carts, equipment and other hazards are kept out of the way at all times, not blocking exits and in compliance with fire codes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred not required.
