An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the Housing Services Team as a Housing Apprentice. This is a great chance to gain a qualification whilst working for the Housing Services Team that provide a wide range of tenancy and income services to Council tenants.

A Medway Council Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn a salary and gain a qualification whilst gathering invaluable workplace skills and experience.

As part of this role, you can expect to undertake the following tasks:

• Data inputting
• Scanning
• Updating of systems
• Email inbox monitoring
• Maintenance of database
• Using the council finance systems
• Responding to customer queries via telephone or email

Ideally you will already have good communication and interpersonal skills, combined with competent IT skills, and a good attention to detail. However, we are happy to support you to reach those goals if you are highly motivated and have the desire to learn and succeed.
