Job description

We are seeking Human Resources Administrator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. The Human Resources Administrator's duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department.

Responsibilities

  • The Human Resources Administrator reports to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner and responsible for maintaining the HRIS, managing employee files, adhering to compliance regulations and policies, and other office administrative duties
  • Record all personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, benefits, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics in HRIS and payroll systems for all employees; generate reports upon request
  • Update HRIS System to reflect all necessary employee status changes
  • Assist in recruitment for the region, including: recruitment, postings ads, resume screening and potentially interviewing
  • Answer and/or refer employee questions regarding Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life, PTO, Company & Union Policies etc
  • Manage all office administrative duties including but not limited to: ordering supplies, uniforms, helping with presentation assembling, keeping the office orderly and answering the phone
  • Perform other administrative/related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Solid understanding of HR (Human Resources)
  • Strong communication and social skills
  • Capable in office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Highly professional and able to use good judgment and maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Approachable and appropriate demeanor when interacting with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing environment
  • Eagerness to work independently as well as part of a team with flexibility and willingness to learn and take initiative on variety of tasks and projects
  • Must adhere to high standards of confidentiality
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in HR administration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Must have experience in Employee Health.
