Job description
e are currently searching for a Human Resource Partner to provide oversight and support to the human resources department and employees. Works collaboratively with the Human Resource Manager in providing service for all HR deliverables including recruiting and hiring, compensation, benefits, organizational development, employee morale and retention, investigations, legal and administrative requirements, coaching/counseling, and training.
· Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, occupational health and safety.
o Update insurance coverages, dependents – changes, additions, deletions & implement annual open enrollment.
o Submit and reconcile medical/vision/voluntary insurance amounts, withholdings and payments.
· Assist with sourcing and recruiting applicants including evaluate applicants, schedule and conduct interviews with applicants
· Conduct New Hire orientation and onboarding activities
· Helps Manager of HR to ensure policies, programs, benefits, and HR practices support company values and business strategy
· Helps facilitate Annual Performance Review process including analysis to ensure reviews are being completed
· Process payroll as well as supporting reports on a weekly basis
· Helps facilitate and communicate compensation, benefits, PTO, and other discussions with employees
· Creates training/educational curriculum through web-based portal
· Helps to ensure all legal requirements, postings and reporting is completed
· Assists with company meetings & special events as needed such as focus group meetings, Quarterly communications, holiday parties, service awards, etc.
· Keeps an open-door policy and is available for employees as questions arise
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of Human Resource experience, manufacturing field preferred
- Prior payroll experience preferred
- Must have a thorough understanding of personnel policies and practices
- Must have a strong recruiting background
- Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with management and employees
- Strong working knowledge of computer skills a must, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
