Starting Salary Range: $20.50 - $23.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.
The essential functions include:
- Provide direct rehabilitative mental health services to Hillsides' Family Resource Centers FSP clients, including individual and group rehabilitative services, collateral services, crisis intervention, in-home community services, and/or services at other locations away from the Family Resource Centers
- Coordinate services and case management, discharge planning, and case consultation with referral sources, school, allied agencies, and others
- Maintain and complete all clinical and administrative record keeping associated with MHRS delivery of services.
- Interact with the community at large and with specific allied agencies, other programs, and funding sources in a manner that facilitates and enhances the operation of the Family Resource Centers
- Is available for and participates in all appropriate Family Resource Centers crisis calls/walk ins.
- Is available for crisis support to clients 24/7 when therapist is unavailable.
- Knowledgeable of prevailing governmental laws and regulations regarding the provision of mental health services, including confidentiality and limits thereof, the reporting of child abuse and neglect, and related regulations
- Knowledgeable of and acts in accordance with Ethical and Professional standards as established by organizations outside of Hillsides.
- Attend and participate in program and Family Resource Centers-wide meetings, including staff in-service, clinical conferences, and training retreats.
- Is available to do a parenting group, or other assigned group, on a rotation one evening a week.
- Other duties as required.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
- Bachelor's Degree plus four years' experience in a relevant mental health setting, OR an Associates of Arts degree plus six years' experience in a relevant mental health setting
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Valid California driver's license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier.
- Chemical Dependency Certificate preferred.

Hillsides practices Trauma Informed Care (TIC) principles which recognizes the signs, symptoms, and widespread impact of trauma; Employees are asked to comprehensively integrate knowledge of Trauma Informed Care into policies, procedures, and practices with the goal to prevent re-traumatization which promotes healing of families, youth, individuals, and communities.
