About

I have an immediate need for an in-person college General Biology II tutor in St. Louis to meet at the Maryville University Library. The student is in his second semester at Maryville University. He needs assistance with his BIO 118: General Biology II class.

The tutor is needed for overall support including clarification of concepts, homework review and test prep support.

His goals are to have a firm understanding of the course concepts.

He wants 1 hour sessions 1-2 times a week. He is available Monday & Wednesday 2pm-5:30pm as well as Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday from 12:30pm-5:30pm.

COURSE DESCRIPTION- BIOL 118: General Biology II -A completion of the survey of biological sciences begun with BIOL-117 (This is the first course in a two-semester sequence designed for majors and other students requiring an extensive introduction to the biological sciences. The course introduces students to the science of biology at the molecular, cellular, organism, evolutionary, and ecological levels.) General Education Area: Natural Science

Job Requirements

• Tutor must be willing to work face-to-face at the Maryville University Library at 610 Maryville University Drive in St. Louis.
• Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)

Student Availability

MON & WED 2pm-5:30pm

THUR, SAT & SUN 12:30pm-5:30pm
