About the Position:

  • As part of Global Indirect Sourcing organization, the commodity manager will handle one of the Professional Services categories such as HR, Marketing, Facilities etc.,), and other technology sourcing procurement requirements on business need basis.
  • The role requires the candidate to be “System savvy”, knowledgeable in various Procurement S2P processes, be familiar with the RFP processes and be able to lead negotiations end to end until contract finalization.
  • Contribute as a key resource to deliver high performance; in achieving extraordinary savings, implementing best-in-class policies & procedures and driving deep engagements and category strategies across Juniper’s business groups.
  • Use your past skills, experience, and success in implementing strategic sourcing strategies to enhance the supplier relationships & performance and foster a deeper value of Procurement to the business groups via stronger supplier rationalization and proven experience.
  • Partner with stakeholders and be the face of Procurement to provide services that are aligned to the company’s goals.
  • Have a flair for data & enable data driven decisions in everything you do

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with suppliers.
  • Gather global requirements and translate them into future requirements and use for supplier negotiation.
  • To effectively collaborate and influence various internal stakeholders, such as but not limited to IT, HR, Marketing, Professional Services
  • Ensure contract negotiations are inclusive of company-wide usage
  • Structure, plan, launch RFPs.
  • Lead, challenge contract renewals while evaluating new options.
  • Execute contracts and master agreements with full end-to-end responsibilities of negotiations, redlining, and close in coordination with legal, InfoSec, compliance etc as may be the case.
  • Facilitate and conduct supplier business review meetings
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to respond to shifting priorities
  • Gather, analyze and present data; strong, effective analytics abilities with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau etc.,
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic, complex, operations environment
  • Benchmarking & be in the know of all emerging trends

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BE/BSc/BCom/MBA level degree
  • Proven ability to present and communicate agendas, strategy, and action plans across organization and across all levels within a company.
  • 10+ years of overall industry experience with specific Sourcing experience of not less than 5 years
  • Proven ability to effectively work with multi-cultural teams and geographies
  • Demonstrated a very proactive work ethic, dedicated
  • Desire to achieve and deliver the best customer experience and exceed their financial/sourcing needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $123,750.00 - $189,750.00 per year
