Key Responsibilities

Working as an ITU Nurse for Nutrix Personnel, your main responsibility will be centred around the provision of exceptional care and treatment to patients finding themselves in life-threatening situations. You will be working very closely with physicians and other member of the healthcare team. Some of the duties you will be required to perform are:

• Monitoring and creating detailed reports and record of ICU patients
• Monitor and report on any changes in a patient’s condition.
• Evaluate and interpret diagnostics tests in order to determine a patient’s condition
• Administer medication and assist physicians in performing a number of procedures the likes of endotracheal intubation, elective cardioversion, endoscopy and bronchoscopy
• Efficiently collaborate with other team members towards the delivery of each patient’s care plans.

Essential requirements

• Having a proven track record of working as part of a clinical team for a minimum of two years
• Experience managing ventilated and non-ventilated patients.
• Possessing a current and active NMC pin number
• The completion of a full enhanced DBS check (Disclosure Baring service)
• Have the legal right to work in the UK

Desirable skills

• Motivated and determined individual with excellent communication skills
• Great time management and prioritisation skills
• Proven ability to work as part of a healthcare team towards successfully delivering individual care plans to patients
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to perform a wide variety of duties under pressure, multitasking

Working hours and benefits

Our current ITU Nurse roles in Liverpool are paying a salary from £42 to £45 per hour.
