We are looking for a talented Supply Planning Coordinator to join our team specializing in Inventory Control for our Cummins Recon Plant in North Charleston, South Carolina.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Performs quality checks on inventory accuracy of On-hand items.
  • Resolve receipt, shipment, or inventory accuracy issues with other team members or teams.
  • Accountable for all required Oracle transactions and monitoring system for accuracy.
  • Conduct cycle counts and support cycle counting activities.
  • Support plant inventory accuracy goals.
  • Support API if scheduled.
  • Support and lead improvements to Materials Functional Excellence.
  • Able to understand, write, audit and own work instructions/procedures.
  • Assists others in gathering and compiling information through primary and secondary research.
  • Demonstrates the target level of proficiency in core competencies.
  • Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
  • Communicates effectively within the assigned team and with all support teams.
  • Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements and career goals.
  • Participates in improvement (quality, safety, process, material flow, etc.) projects.
  • Complies with HSE standards, policies, procedures, training, & regulations.
  • Follows applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
  • Forklift license a plus.
  • Shipping / Receiving experience a plus.
  • Experience performing cycle counts.
  • High volume manufacturing experience.
  • Oracle experience a plus.
  • PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Self-starter with Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Well organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based work environment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed.
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
