Job description
The IT Business Support Senior will support our department with their executive-level presentations, strong leadership, and problem-solving skills to assist with the daily operations. Responsibilities may include:
- Collaborating with executive team members to determine and prioritize department strategies
- Providing department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork
- Planning, coordinating and keeping contents of a meeting focused
- Determining key performance indicators and how to measure team performance
- Providing tactical support to implement ideas
- Working with leadership to deliver, monitor and communicate progress towards goals
- Responding to inquiries on behalf of the department executives
- Overseeing strategic IT initiatives from ideation to implementation
- Identifying and helping solve core problems or opportunities within department processes
- Providing VP Executive and other senior leaders with insight and analysis on the company’s operations
- Assessing risk when business and IT decisions are made
- Providing support and oversight for special projects and initiatives
- Planning, coordinating and leading meetings and workshops
- Identifying and providing recommendations on improvements across the department
Job Summary:
Provides administrative and business operations support to department managers and/or staff in various fields or disciplines, such as vendor management, asset management, compliance, audit, employee engagement, training, and other similar areas. Performs variety of activities in support of functional areas for specific project, event, technical unit or business unit.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provides business support and project coordination to managers and/or staff members moderately complex assignments and of fairly broad scope.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience required.
Education
- Associates degree in a related field or two (2 years of experience in a directly related field required.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration
- N/A
Additional Requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of policies, practices and systems.
- Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards.
- Full knowledge of industry practices.
- Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields.
