In this IT Governance and Financial Analyst role you will be responsible for providing a support and control function aligned to one or more CIO/CTO’s, ensuring all governance and process are adhered to and supporting the CIO/CTO with their financial management and planning.
The IT Governance and Financial Analyst will be aligned with the top line and work with the CIO and CTO’s on the CIO Governance model.
The difference you’ll make.
- Overseeing CIO 3rd Parties spend, including committee submissions and ensuring spend requests are raised in a timely manner
- Analysing financials and providing support and reporting as required
- Providing support to the IT approval process for which feeds into the end-to-end governance process
- Attending CIO Committees and document and follow up any actions
- Supporting area workforce planning including the tracking of recruitment through the various forums, and providing tool support
- Managing team activities such as timesheet completion, mandatory training, etc and supporting resource management & business management challenges for area
What you’ll bring.
- Effective in organising and leading weekly, monthly and quarterly management team meetings, by setting the agenda, presenting financial information.
- Be able to coordinate issues regarding resourcing, assignments and demand
- Strong presentation skills, especially in PowerPoint & Excel
- Be able to listen to and to question both senior and junior colleagues using proven people management and influencing skills
- Be effective in a team environment and be willing to contribute to collective targets, collaborating with IT Business Unit colleagues to achieve successful delivery of projects or evolution of products
- Have strong organisation and planning skills to manage multiple projects so that promises are delivered.

- Strong communications skills to deliver clear solutions to both senior and to junior colleagues

What else you need to know.
Milton Keynes based, 35hrs a week.
Current working arrangements are hybrid working, 2/3 days a week expect in the office.
