As an IT manager of the Claims Mainframe team, you’ll lead a product team comprised of developers and quality assurance analysts, aligned to support the core Claims batch processes. This team is vital in supporting our core Claims business agenda and will be responsible for maintaining operation support of the Claims batch processes. You’ll partner with a diverse and experienced management team (Business and IT) to maintain and add enhancements to our mainframe infrastructure. In this role, you will also be expected to effectively lead the team as a ScrumMaster. This is a remote position with occasional travel to an office for an meeting and/or training.

Must-have qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (Computer Science, MIS, Business Management) and two years of work experience leading or managing professionals or project delivery
• Instead of a degree, four years of work experience leading or managing professionals or project delivery may be accepted

Preferred skills

• Broad knowledge of Information Technology functions which could include an individual focus on mainframe development, service management, data management, network management, architecture, or other specialties
• Progressive core Claims system knowledge and batch processing.
• Project oversight, planning, tracking and reporting skills with KanBan
• Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to direct and oversee the work of others
• Talent development, coaching and mentoring skills for improved performance and career success

Compensation

• $121,590-$148,610/year
• Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
