Silverado US Inc is a Commercial Construction company that is located in beautiful Kansas City, MO. Our high-performance team of professionals tackles the most unique, exciting and impactful construction projects in our area. We are currently seeking skilled a journeyman to join our young, energetic and growing team.

We offer a consistent work schedule and competitive pay. Applicants should be efficient and safety-minded, with commercial construction experience and access to reliable transportation. The ideal candidate will be capable of working with minimal oversight, yet also able to follow directions closely. Additionally, he or she should be familiar with construction industry standards and procedures to ensure project security.

Responsibilities:

· Lift heavy loads up to 50lbs and navigate construction job site terrain

· Demonstrate skill in the safe operation of all power tools

· Be competent with reading blueprints

· Adhere to company policy and standards at all sites

· Display good manners and attitude toward co-workers, property owners, and occupants of the property

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

· Have a minimum of 3-5 years trades experience

· Understanding of construction principles and procedures

· Ability to work in a high stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations

· Demonstrate competence in the areas of safety and project execution

· Willingness to travel out of town for projects

· Have a reliable vehicle for transportation

· Ability to show up on time or early

· Have a working cell phone

· Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude

· Ability to work without close supervision

· Safety credentials are an asset (WHMIS, Fall Arrest, First Aid)
