Job Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, adjust, and calibrate plant instrument and emissions monitoring equipment as needed.
• Plan and complete instrumentation installations, repairs, modifications, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues with field instruments using digital multimeters/calibrators.
• Troubleshoot various plant control networks and use computers to troubleshoot and program plant control devices.
• Read and follow written technical manuals and instructions.
• Complete corrective, planned, and predictive electrical maintenance programs on plant computers, instruments, communication, and control systems.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit systems.
• Follow electrical safety standards while performing electrical tasks.
• Keep records on repair and calibration of instruments for compliance purposes.
• Provide direction to lower-level Instrument classifications.
• Plan, organize, coordinate, and communicate work performed.

Qualifications:

• Possess an Electronic Technical School Certificate and/or equivalent.
• Hold a State of Michigan Masters or Journeyman's license.
• Familiar with thermocouples, RTDs, weigh scales, process meters, gas analysis equipment, and all connected tubing, wiring, etc.
• Able to work on 5, 24, 120, 208, 240, and 480 volt electrical systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.61 - $34.79 per hour
