About the Job
We are looking for qualified, journeyman-level carpenters and metal building erectors for our crew. We self-perform our concrete forming and setup, wood framing, metal framing, steel erection, metal building erection, metal siding installation, and metal roof installation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must be able to read and understand the following qualifications. If you do not have the required experience, you will not be considered for the position.
• A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience as part of a metal building erection crew, metal roof and siding installation crew, concrete forming crew, metal framing crew, or wood framing crew is required.
• Must know basic hand tools including tape measure, hammer, metal snips, and levels.
• Must have knowledge of power tools including roto-hammers, screw guns, drills, skill saws, and table saws.
• Must have your hand tools, hard hat, work boots, etc.
• References to verify experience are required.

Job Locations: From Davis to Tahoe and from Chico to Modesto.

Job Details:

• 40-hour work week. Monday - Friday (7 am - 4 pm)
• All employees are hired on a 90-day probation period, after which they will be offered medical, dental, and vision benefits.
• We work on a mixture of private and public projects.
• Prevailing wages are sometimes available, but not always.
• Due to flow and job requirements, workers may be asked to help with various tasks including concrete forming, wood framing, metal framing, metal building erection, metal siding and roofing installation, and metal trim installation.

Supplemental pay types: Signing bonus of $2,000 upon completion of 120 days of employment.

Questions you will be expected to answer:

• Are you able to commute for this job?
• Are you able to work efficiently for 8 hours a day from Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm?
• Are you a legal US citizen or documented worker?
• Do you have experience installing standing seam metal roofing and trim?
• Do you have experience installing metal wall panels and trim?
• Do you have experience setting up forms or pouring concrete?
• Do you have any wood framing experience?

Education:

• High school or equivalent. (Preferred)

Experience:
Any of the following:

• Metal Roofing installation - 5 years minimum
• Metal Siding Installation - 5 years minimum
• Metal Building Erection - 5 years minimum
• Wood framing - 5 years minimum
• Concrete forming - 5 years minimum

License/Certification:

• Driver's License
• Forklift certification
• Boom lift certification
• Scissor lift certification
