The ideal candidate for the role of a Junior/Senior Embryologist would be as followed.
The Junior/Senior Embryologist position requires a minimum bachelors level degree in science or related field. Minimum requirements also include previous laboratory embryology experience 2-4 years. Position is on-site at Chelsea Fertility NYC 105 E 37th St #1, New York, NY 10016 – Salary based on experience 60,000 – 100,000.
- On site training is offered for development of skill and proficiency in advanced ART technique.
Responsibilities (subject to change during employment):
- Maintains demonstrated proficiency with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures with In vitro fertilization (IVF) and assisted reproductive technology (ART) processes.
- Procedures include, not limited to:
- Paperwork prep
- Dish prep
- Oocyte retrieval/identification
- Embryo grading, ICSI, Assisted hatching
- Blastocyst biopsy (training offered)
- Embryo transfer (training offered)
- Embryo and Oocyte vitrification and warming (training offered)
- Assists with laboratory supply orders, maintenance, and inventory
- Adhere to QA/QC as per lab requirements
- Ensures that proper administrative documentation and databases stay up to date and compliant
- Maintains exceptional time-management skills and strives for process efficiency
- Perform semen analysis, as well as IUI and IVF preparations of specimen
Requirements:
- BS - minimum requirement
- 2-4 years of embryology experience minimum
- Detail oriented and thorough
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
