Pamlico Pet Resort in Washington, NC is seeking an individual with a strong work ethic and passion for pet care to join our team in the kennel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pet Care - Feeding, walking, watering and cleaning up after pets in our care.
• Pampering - spend time interacting with and playing with the pets including, giving special snacks, pool time, extra fetch or play time, etc.
• Cleaning - cages, runs, yards, floors, etc. Lots of poop and pee inside and outside.
• Bathing - bathing cats and dogs, nail trims and files, expression of anal glands, brush and blow out.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Compassion towards animals
• Flexibility in hours including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

• Working knowledge of computers
• Team player willing to learn new techniques and treatments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour
