Passion Four Paws is a dog boarding, daycare, and training facility located in Lewis Center. We are looking to expand our exceptional team with additional Kennel Assistants and Specialists

Kennel Manager - $16 to $18 per hour based on experience

The Kennel manager is an individual who is comfortable managing the Kennel Specialists, communicating with clients, assisting the trainer(s) with their training pups and performing the various duties necessary to run and maintain the facility.

* Required- demonstrable experience working with dogs and minimum of 1 year of work in the dog/animal fields. * Preferred- previous leadership or managerial work experience and existing knowledge of dog behavior *Strong client relations skills; proficient written communication; basic computer skills *Able to work independently and take initiative to get things done! *Duties include: walking/playing with dogs and helping to keep kennels/facility clean, creating and supervising dog playgroups, email communication to clients, social media management, creating employee scheduling, managing client reservation, inventory and ordering, facilities management,

Additional compensation:

* Seasonal bonus payout – starting on day 1, all positions are eligible for Summer and Winter seasonal bonus payouts. Target payout amount is calculated based on company performance and individual hours worked during the seasonal period. When we do well, you do well! * Knowing Dogs 101 certification – you will complete Knowing Dogs 101 certification from The Dog Gurus as part of onboarding & training. * Signing & onboarding bonuses – stellar candidates with exceptional knowledge and experience with dogs may be eligible for a "signing bonus" on first paycheck and/or a performance-based incentive bonus after 90 days. Specialists wishing to pursue further education in dog related fields of grooming or training are eligible for financial assistance in reaching those goals pending contractual agreements and milestones achieved.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
