The Company

We are a family-run grocery store and purveyor of fine foods. We have been serving the Naples community since 1938, featuring fine gourmet food, including special order cuts of meats and cheeses, fine wine and beverages, our ‘from scratch” fine bakery and a deli that features international delicacies, American classics and Wynn Family favorites from Annie Wynn’s own recipes.

While there have been many changes and advancements in the store, the Wynn family has preserved the core attitudes and principles that their father and grandfather started with. The most important principle providing the best customer service, which has been the primary key to the Wynn Family success.

Kitchen Manager

The ideal candidate will be directly responsible for all kitchen operations including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality and safety standards; sanitation and cleanliness; training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, presentation, cost control and sanitation and cleanliness. Ensures collaboration between kitchen and front of house operations.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of Kitchen Management experience, preferably with grocery store experience
• Culinary degree strongly preferred
• Ability to perform all responsibilities of each position in the kitchen
• Manage inventories and receiving
• Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure that food and customer service meet appropriate standards
• Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
