An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to join our dynamic team as a Law Clerk, with the opportunity to progress to Associate Attorney. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a high-end legal environment for a dynamic company that is seeking individuals with a strong work ethic and an interest in the law. The Law Clerk will assist our attorneys in various cases, conduct research and draft documents, as well as participate in meetings to discuss cases and clients. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to pursue a career in law and has the talent and ambition to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist an attorney with administrative tasks related to cases and clients.
• Research legal issues and problems.
• Maintain current knowledge of legal developments in the field and society at large.
• Assist with drafting legal documents and memos.
• Draft pleadings, research and analyze case law, and draft motions and briefs.
• Interview clients, review evidence, negotiate settlements, conduct discovery, and prepare for trial.
• Answer phones, greet clients and visitors, schedule appointments, file papers with the court, run errands.,Legal research on case-specific topics or on broader topics or issues that may become relevant in cases.
• Law school related projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
