Audit Manager
Indianapolis, IN - Hybrid Working
An exciting new role has become available for a Lead Auditor based within the Rolls Royce audit and approvals team in Indianapolis, Indiana. Working remotely can be considered in this role. In this role, you will be expected to complete several audit types within our Rolls Royce domestic facilities and our suppliers as either a lead or support auditor. Your knowledge and experience will help to execute the audit program and support and coach auditees on closure of findings. Secondarily this role will also support the Rolls Royce approved supplier list as either directly auditing and approving new suppliers or providing support activities. The role will be based in the central quality team in Rolls Royce North America and support both Civil and Defense businesses, where we pioneer the power that matters to our customers, to society and to the planet.

Key Accountabilities:
- You will plan, carry out and document internal and supplier quality audits both for new suppliers and existing suppliers
- Arrange, coordinate and lead audit teams for internal and supplier quality audits
- Prepare, coordinate, and manage meetings performed frequently to share results and experience within the audit community
- Process all required documentation to successfully open and close an audit
Basic Requirements:
- Associate degree and 4+ years of experience in quality management systems, engineering, quality or operations, OR
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience in quality management systems, engineering, quality or operations, OR
- Master's degree, OR
- JD/PhD, OR
- 5+ years of experience in quality management systems, engineering, quality or operations in lieu of a degree
- In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous Auditing experience either internally or supplier facing
