JOB SUMMARY:
Help train new employees, oversee serving line, seating area to ensure high quality of food, service and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:
  • As directed by the Unit Management assist in training new Cafeteria Workers in line serving, bussing, cleaning, stocking and side duties.
  • Assist in ensuring all communications in the work place remain positive, constructive and contribute toward a harmonious work environment.
  • Remain knowledgeable of property wide offerings, current trail conditions as it relates to water supply, closures and bus routes.
  • Remain fluid with all hours of operations for the restaurant and current menu selections as well as the daily feature.
  • Field phone calls as necessary while assisting guests with all inquiries
  • Watch the serving line to ensure high quality food offerings, portion control and plate presentations while ensuring appropriate levels of portions.
  • Help train in sanitation guidelines and ensuring those guidelines remain in daily practice.
  • Remain fluid in all positions within the food court stations, pizza pub and banquet operations
  • As directed check side duties for proper completion and check-out staff upon completion of closing side duties.
  • Assist Unit Management with special tour functions in setup, service and breakdown.
  • Provide information to new Unit employees as to procedures for the position.
  • Ensure that sanitation procedures are being utilized in all areas of the cafeteria serving and seating areas.
  • Adhere to all safety and risk management policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous cafeteria, quick service or food and beverage experience.
  • Good verbal communication skills with ability to convey instructions in training new employees.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to courteously interact with a broad cross-section of guests.
  • Must be available for evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
