The Learning Designer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of high-impact learning solutions for Moss Adams professionals. This includes, but is not limited to online, classroom-based, and blended learning solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Learning & Development (L&D) program owners to create compelling course content and activities that enhance learning retention and knowledge transfer
  • Analyze business and learner needs, define learning requirements and objectives, and recommend effective learning modalities
  • Design, develop, and deliver webinars, e-learning, instructor-led, virtual classroom, and blended learning solutions that meet professional standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit
  • Work independently with internal subject matter experts and external vendors to create effective learning solutions
  • Develop e-learning and other templates for rapid production
  • Create learning and performance-support materials to enhance the effectiveness of the learning experience (e.g., job aids, interactive digital handouts, motion graphic micro videos, participant, and facilitator guides)
  • Develop pre- and post-course assessments to measure knowledge transfer
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferred
  • Instructional design experience desired including high proficiency with e-learning tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Camtasia, and AI tools to produce voiceovers and write text, MS Word and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat PDR editing tools
  • Experience with virtual meeting platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of adult-learning principles and instructional design theories and practices
  • Ability to quickly synthesize and write course content based on input from subject matter experts, written material, previous training courses, interviews, etc.
  • Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • Strong organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to producing accurate work in a timely manner
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%

This is the typical range of pay for the position; however, actual pay may vary based on experience, skillset, and location. This position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
