Job description

• Maintain order and enforce pool rules in swimming and sauna areas.
• Clean the pool and sauna regularly of loose debris.
• Keep chairs, etc. in order, arranging them neatly within the pool deck area.
• Complete daily chlorine content log according to established procedures. May determine chlorine content and pH value of water, using water testing kit.
• Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning and administer first aid.
• May inspect exercise equipment room daily and report any maintenance and repair needs to Maintenance.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
• Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to manager;
• Complete shift checklists and special projects as assigned.
• Be available to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Be completely familiar with hotel emergency procedures, and provide, calm, reassuring assistance to guests and fellow employees in the event of an emergency.
• To follow all company policies and procedures.
• To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
• To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.
• Follow all company safety standards, including proper equipment handling to avoid injury to yourself and others.
• To attend all mandatory meetings as directed.
• To perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
