Watershed Restaurant is located on the Sawmill River. It's a beautiful spot that draws people in from all over the country. The restaurant has a focus on delicious elegant comfort food, a casual atmosphere and exceptional service. We are seeking a experienced individual who can be a strong team member in the kitchen.

Our kitchen team works together to ensure freshness of product, preparation of all food, maintaining and cleaning all preparation areas in the kitchen, following proper plate presentation guidelines and assisting fellow employees as needed.

Activities & Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining and cleaning all food preparation areas to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
• Ensuring that food is stored, prepped and cooked properly and sufficiently
• Cooking and plating all menu items according to Watershed's portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen procedures.
• Assisting other team members as needed this includes the dishwashing area
• Communicating effectively with all Watershed staff and management
• Closing their station in the kitchen and assisting others with closing as well. Making sure all perishable items are properly wrapped, labeled, dated and stored properly.
• Assist in keeping records of waste and spillage

This individual will need to have an eye for detail, a strong work ethic and a willingness to work together to prepare high quality foods so all guests have a positive experience.

Pay: $20.00 - $20.50 per hour
