Upholstery Staging (Line Loaders) Job Description
1. Review the latest schedule, rush orders, ship dates and coordinate with the Supervisor
of Leather Upholstery in order to determine JOB PRIORITY.
2. Ensure that sufficient amounts of poly, frames and covers are available to run jobs.
3. Ensure that style numbers, frames and leg finishes are CORRECT and match the
production schedule information.
4. If all materials for the job are PRESENT, tear off the production ticket and give to the
Poly Supervisor (Julie) or the Supervisor of Leather Upholstery (Wayne), so that the
schedule can be updated.
5. Advise the Upholstery Towing Person as to what frames to pull.
6. LOAD THE LINE: means load the oldest scheduled date first, assembling the frame,
poly and covers to begin the upholstery process of the product.
7. As needed, you may be asked to assist in updating the schedule.
8. Any other tasks or duties assigned.
