LINE TECHNICIAN

Manufacturing plant is looking for a Line Technician. Experience in operating, setting up and performing maintenance on high precision production equipment in a metal stamping and forming environment.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Produce parts to customer specifications.
• Understand piece part drawings.
• Measure parts using the proper inspection equipment and inspect raw materials.
• Enter data and fill out inspection sheets.
• Make adjustment to tooling to keep parts in specification.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging and palletizing of parts.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

Skills and Requirements:

• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Must have good record keeping skills.
• Ability to measure parts accurately using toolmaker microscopes, comparators etc.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Good work ethics and a desire to learn are essential.
• Good communication skills and attention to details are a must.

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to work in assembly plants.
• Frequent standing, lifting, and walking.

Specific Knowledge, License, Certifications, Etc.:

• 3 years minimum recent experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• GED or High School Diploma Required.
