We are hiring an full-time or part-time Stocker to join our team. If you're a hard-working professional, than this is an ideal place for you.

Responsibilities for Stocker

• Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, racks, and refrigerators
• Move, handle, and transport finished products, material, or supplies to other departments by utilizing hand jacks, lift carts, and other means of transportation
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (including backroom and shelves), and dispose of trash
• Help and assist customers in finding merchandise
• Process sales transactions
• Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout area
• Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Additional stocker and cashier duties as needed

Qualifications for Stocker

• 1-2 years of experience in area of responsibility in preferred
• Must be able to do simple mathematical calculations
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads of 75 pounds in a physical environment
• Must be able to work 100% of the time moving about in the work area
• Ability to perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
• Previous experience in receiving, handling, and stocking in retail or warehouse/distribution environments preferred
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service

Skills

• Familiarity with computer for inventory checking
• A demonstrated commitment to professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
• Ability to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing and reaching, and lifting up to 70 pounds
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age
• 1-2 years prior experience in Retail store, Liquor store, Bar or Restaurant.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
