Summary
Performs clerical duties related to processing mortgage and installment loan payments as well as general ledger account entries for the department. Position will also be responsible for updating insurance information in the banks core servicing platform. Processes loan escrows transactions, commercial and residential insurance tracking duties as assigned, tax payment escrow tracking, maintains departmental records, and other departmental duties as assigned.

Job Entry Requirements
Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent. Secondary education preferred, understanding of financial institution mortgage loan and documentation and closing procedures, good written and oral communication skills, strong analytical skills helpful, working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Supervisory skills and experience are highly preferable.

  • Clerical duties related to escrow transactions, payment and payoffs transactions
  • Understand and perform mortgage loan customer service duties.
  • Posting payments, payoffs, and other department transactions as necessary.

Bank Secrecy Act

  • Maintain sufficient knowledge and understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing/PATRIOT Act and OFAC regulations
  • To be able to fulfill applicable requirements and responsibilities under the bank’s related policies and programs.
