Position Summary:

Responsible for the general cleaning, removal of trash and upkeep of public areas, public and employee restrooms, business office space and other assigned areas.

Essential Functions:

  • Clean, vacuum, and dust public areas, public and employee restrooms, business office and banquet space.
  • Report any damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards to management.
  • Remove trash and items for recycling.
  • Restock supplies and other items required for public areas.
  • Ensure main guest entrance is neat and clean at all times.
  • Complete any special projects that might be assigned.
  • Properly and appropriately use cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Turn in all articles left in public spaces for entry into lost and found.
  • Perform Housekeeping and Laundry duties as needed.
  • Ensure that all guests are greeted.
  • Maintain good response time to guest and management requests.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Keep work area neat and organized.
  • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and immediately report all unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with all departments.

· Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by the property Employee Handbook.

· Perform all other duties assigned.

· Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Knowledge of chemicals and operation of industrial machines.
  • Ability to:
  • Stand and/or walk for entire shift.
  • Work with minimum supervision.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Work any day of the week and any hour.

Physical Demands – Occasional (1-3 hours); Frequent (3-6 hours); Constant (6-8 hours)

Constantly required to stand; walk; crouching/bending/stooping; pushing/pulling; reaching; grasping; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. Work Environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
