Are you an energetic, passionate and experienced leader who can get the best out of a team of drivers in one of our depot?

Are you able to lead and manage a designated group of drivers to deliver a high performing workforce in line with GTRs specific standards in safety, performance, and customer service expectations. To be a highly visible people focused manager driving improved employee engagement and results. Line Management of drivers dealing with individual performance reviews, briefings, welfare, disciplinary, grievance and poor performance matters.

Can you implement customer service standards that change the culture and raise the professionalism of drivers across GTR. Develop a first class customer service environment that delivers excellent service to our customers. Enhance the on-board experience for our customers, resulting in repeat business and provision of higher satisfaction results. Drive team performance through excellent engagement and utilise the attendance procedure, improving performance, individual grievance and the disciplinary procedures as appropriate to ensure fair treatment and improved performance.

The Successful candidate should possess/demonstrate the following:

• Educated to GCSE standard (Essential)
• Degree Level or Recognised Qualifications in Management (Desirable)
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Experienced negotiator (Essential)
• Excellent Interviewing Skills and Techniques (Essential)
• Ability to establish rapport and credibility at all levels within the company (Essential)
• Thorough knowledge of conditions applicable to Drivers (Desirable)
• Experience of working in a Railway Operating Environment (Desirable)
• Proven Record in Delivery of Results and Achievements in Service Performance and Customer Service (Essential)
