Moran Transportation Corporation has an immediate opening for a full-time CUSTOMER SERVICE at our Elk Grove Village, Illinois corporate office.

MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Resolve and process all related customer inquiries
• Answer inbound calls & emails in a professional & timely manner
• Organize delivery appointments
• Assist the operations team
• Type in data quickly and efficiently
• Provide data entry support across departments
• Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers

Essential Functions:

• High volume phone calls & emails from external customers
• Provide excellent & be considerate to customers, drivers and staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• High School diploma / GED required
• 1-2 years High Volume phone calls in an office/trucking environment
• Previous freight experience is required within the trucking/transportation industry, import experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Any other ad hoc duties as defined by your Manager
• Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities
