Job Description
Leads project management and execution of strategic warehouse initiatives to provide cost savings, efficiencies, and operational improvements to AFNA. Responsible for oversight and review of warehouse KPI’s to ensure 3PL warehouses are meeting contract requirements. Aides in review of standard work and process flow to maximize efficiencies and SOPs are captured. Supports and assists with reviewing standard work and process flow to maximize efficiencies and create SOPs.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Meet service requirements for internal and external customers
- Ensures a culture of continuous improvement, improving processes, controlling costs and utilizing metrics to measure performance
- Provides timely, accurate and thorough communication both internally and externally; ensures collaborative communication with Operations Planning, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Transportation Services
- Ensures that shipment and warehousing documentation is accurate, timely and maintained according to standards
- Stays current with industry trends to determine possible impact on overall business.
- Participates in contract negotiations for efficiency and cost saving opportunities
- Analyze overall warehouse spend and Identify cost take out opportunities and service improvements
- Assist in high value claim resolution greater than $50,000 which will include negotiation for payment settlements and authorization for final cost assignment.
- Serve as the Logistics warehouse expert by having deep knowledge of Amcor processes and procedures and partner with internal and external customers to support business requirements
- Ensure a high quality operational service to internal and external customers
- Warehouse reporting within SAP or PowerBI
- Assist managers to develop operational standards, to include damage audits, receiving inspections, productivity measures, work instructions, etc.
- Facilitate and/or participate in monthly meetings and quarterly business reviews with warehouse partners
- Site visits to AFNA manufacturing locations and external warehouse locations
- Participants in cross functional meetings with internal and external partners to improve overall efficiencies
- Manage projects related to process improvements
- Foster peer to peer collaboration and interpersonal skills to meet objectives and goals

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
- Bachelors degree and 2-4 years relevant experience or Equivalent combination of education & relevant experience totaling 7+ years
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including warehouse management systems (WMS)
- SAP knowledge is preferred
