Job Title: LVN/LPN - Night Shift
Job Type: Part-Time (Monday and Tuesday)
Shift: Night Shift (2 x 12 hours, 6:00 pm to 6:00 am)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duration: 13 weeks renewable contract
Description:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate LVN/LPN to join our team for a part-time night shift position at our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong clinical knowledge, and a passion for providing quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing supervisor
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans for patients
- Document patient care and progress notes accurately and timely
- Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Active Oregon LVN/LPN license
- Minimum of 1-year experience in long-term care
- BLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination (facility guideline: required)
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
