Job description
· May supervise the patient living environment and provide patient care.
· May supervise the medication system.
· Receives, writes, and notes providers' telephone orders in an accurate and timely manner.
· Charts on the required number of patients in a timely manner, recording pertinent observations.
· Processes lab orders and reviews lab results, notifying the provider of abnormal levels.
· Complies with facility policies and procedures and ensures that others on shift do the same.
· Provides supervision to the medication nurse & MHWs to ensure patient care, safety, and security.
· Completes admissions and/or discharges accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
· Coordinates with the pharmacy to obtain necessary medications and effectively utilizes the Omnicell.
· Provides support to the charge nurse where and when needed.
· Completes MARs upon admission and discharge medication processes accurately and in a timely manner.
· Additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.73 - $32.00 per hour
