Shifts: available are 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am
4 days on 3 days off and 3 days on and 4 days off and so on.
will have 2 work 2 weekends a month.
Job Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for producing conforming parts and ensuring the machines are operating in the most efficient manner possible.
Job Duties
- Read and follow work instructions
- Test parts at regular schedule intervals and prior to combining batches
- Notify toolmaker if parts are out of spec or machine isn’t operating correctly
- Keep accurate sign-off logs
- Assign correct and legible lot numbering to Process Status Label
- Perform SPC’s on required parts
- Keep area clean and mop up any oil splashes
- Ensure compliance with plant safety
- Contribute to team effort by performing additional tasks and accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications
- Have ran a machine in a warehouse for at least 4 to 6 months
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work safely and consider the safety of others around them in the workplace at all times
- Must be able to work within a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
- On the Job training provided
- Reliable work ethic, mature, punctual, competent & team spirited
- Excellent organizational skills with sharp attention to details
- Outstanding communication ability, proficient in English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- 4x12
